What's included

People forgive a shaky camera. Not bad audio.

Listeners will watch a podcast filmed on phones, but they leave when the sound is hard work. So we start with the audio and build the rest around it.

01

Dialogue clean-up

Noise, echo, hum, mouth clicks and crosstalk reduced, levels evened out, so every voice sounds close and clear, even from an untreated room.

02

Editing for flow

False starts, long pauses and tangents trimmed so the conversation moves, without losing the personality that makes the show.

03

Mixing and mastering

Voices, music and stings balanced and mastered to the loudness specs of the platforms you publish on.

04

Video podcast editing

Multi-camera cuts, colour, lower thirds and graphics for YouTube. See video editing.

05

Clips, Shorts and Reels

The strongest moments cut into vertical clips with captions, to bring new listeners to the full episode.

06

Theme music and other languages

Original intro music and stings, and translated, dubbed or subtitled episodes. See music and dubbing.

Before you record

Five habits that make our job easier.

We can rescue a lot in the mix. These save time, money and the occasional episode.

  • Give every voice its own trackOne microphone per person, recorded separately, so one cough doesn't ruin everyone's line.
  • Keep the distance steadyThe same distance from the microphone throughout keeps the voice consistent from start to finish.
  • Pick the softest room you haveCurtains, sofas, carpets and bookshelves soak up echo far better than a bare room with a good microphone.
  • Record a minute of silenceThirty to sixty seconds of the room with nobody talking gives us a noise profile to clean with.
  • Back up locallyFor remote guests, ask them to record their own side too. Internet calls drop out; local files don't.

Questions

Podcasts, answered.

Do you edit video podcasts as well as audio?

Yes. We clean and mix the audio and edit the video: multi-camera cuts, colour, graphics and clips for Shorts and Reels.

Can you clean up audio recorded in a noisy room?

Usually, a long way. Echo, background noise and hum can be reduced a lot, though a better room always gives a better result. Send a sample and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.

Do you make clips for Shorts and Reels?

Yes. We pick the strongest moments, cut them vertical, caption them for viewers on mute and deliver them with each episode.

Can you publish our podcast in other languages?

Yes. Episodes can be subtitled, or dubbed with human or AI voices, in Hindi, other Indian languages and foreign languages.

How is podcast editing priced?

Per episode or as a monthly package, depending on length, the number of cameras and voices, and how many clips you want.
