Story editing
Assembly, rough cut and picture lock for films, series and documentaries: structure, performance, pace, and the scene that has to go so the film can work.
Video editing · Every length, every frame
A cut decides whether people keep watching. We edit films, web series, micro-dramas, commercials, podcasts and YouTube videos, paced for the screen they play on, from a single film to thousands of episodes on a daily schedule.
What's included
A feature needs room to breathe. A vertical episode has three seconds to earn the next minute. We edit each one for the way it will be watched.

Assembly, rough cut and picture lock for films, series and documentaries: structure, performance, pace, and the scene that has to go so the film can work.
02
Vertical episodes with a hook in the opening seconds and a cliffhanger at the end, cut to each app's episode length. See micro-drama production.
03
Vertical originals and cut-downs from long videos, with hooks, captions and pacing built for the feed, in 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1.
04
The master edit and every version a campaign needs, from thirty seconds to six, for TV, YouTube and social. See ad films.
05
Documentaries, explainers and interviews, cut for retention: b-roll, graphics, music and chapters. See YouTube video production.
06
Locked cuts conformed for colour and sound, and clean, organised project files returned with every delivery, so your team can always open the edit again.
What we edit
The same editors cut for cinema, television and the phone, so a campaign or a series keeps one voice across every screen.
Bulk and white-label
Most of what we edit goes out under our clients' names. Platforms use us as their editing team, and we can do the same for production houses, agencies and creators, whether you need one film a month or a hundred videos a week.
For volume work we write the rules down first: a style guide for pacing, titles, captions, music and sound; templates for recurring formats; and a delivery cadence. Then every editor works to the same guide, and every file passes the same quality check before it leaves. One sprint delivered 1,000 projects in 20 days.

How an edit runs
Footage, scripts, references, platform and deadline. For series and volume work, we agree a style guide.
The story laid out, then shaped: structure first, then pace and performance.
Your notes at each stage. Tell us how many review rounds your schedule allows, and we plan around it.
The cut is locked and conformed for colour, sound, graphics and subtitles.
Finished in-house or handed to your team, with masters, versions and project files.
Edited in-house
Most of our client work is under their names, so here are films from Alokick Originals, the YouTube channels we write, edit and finish ourselves.
These play from YouTube.
